# Position Description
Maintenance Mechanic 2nd Shift:
A Maintenance Mechanic Grade Level I is responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing and troubleshooting all production and or associated facilities equipment. Duties and tasks may vary daily.
Required Education:
Minimum High school diploma required and Technical or Vocational Certificate in related field preferred.
Experience or Skills:
0-2 years' experience in Industrial Machine Maintenance preferred.
Must be able to work 40 hours and overtime as required.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 50 pounds.
# Accountabilities
Key Responsibilities Include:
Industrial Machine Maintenance Mechanic.
Ability to troubleshoot, installation and repair of production, facilities and associated equipment.
Knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, repair and installation.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment with emphasis in mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Ability to troubleshoot A/C; D/C motors, controls and drives.
Able to troubleshoot PLC programs.
PLC programming a plus.
Limited experience in mechanical troubleshooting, repair and installation.
Ability to weld and fabricate a plus.
Understands machine diagnostics.
Ability to work from schematics and blueprints.
Works well in team environment, or as an individual contributor and with direct or limited supervision.
Applies basic skills and develops advanced skills, processes and procedures specific to assigned responsibilities.
Exercises limited judgment; work reviewed by others.
Resolves routine questions and problems and seeks guidance on non-routine responsibilities.
Learns and applies departmental policies and procedures specific to assigned responsibilities.
Responsible for Preventative Maintenance on varied equipment.
